Prior Work Experience
Before joining Stuffed Foods, Scott Robinson, Andover, served as Director of Project Management at Eze Castle Integration, a provider of managed services, cyber security, and business transformation for mid-market financial services organizations across the globe. From 2014 to 2017, he led the firm’s Project Management and Circuits teams for over three years, with 13 direct reports encompassing a global 350+ staff. Scott successfully managed 120 to 160 projects annually, covering seven office locations. He hired trained, and developed staff, provided strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight to teams handling service implementation, and created and led improvement initiatives, including mechanisms and procedures to integrate system-wide processes. The projects he managed ranged in size, length, and complexity and included cloud migrations, hardware upgrades, voice implementations, office buildouts/relocations, and colocation projects.
Scott was the Winner of the Eze Castle Founders Award 2015 for his valuable contributions to the company.
Scott served as Director of Information Technology for Racepoint Group, providing integrated communications services to clients of all sizes — from startups to Fortune 500 companies. At Racepoint, Scott managed the strategy and execution of all IT operations for the global 175-person communications agency with offices in seven cities. He supervised the implementation team while working closely with management and external vendors, negotiating, outsourcing, and consulting on vendor contracts and service agreements.
For five years, Scott was Director of Information Technology at Todd & Weld, a 75-person Boston law firm. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Scott ensured the practice’s productivity, security, and bottom-line performance were supported by technology. He prioritized the firm’s immediate, short-term, and long-term IT needs, including systems planning, disaster recovery planning, contract negotiations, vendor relations, and software and hardware purchasing. He participated in monthly management meetings and collaborated with the Executive Committee, Executive Director, and other managers to achieve the firm’s IT goals.
His hands-on IT background began at the Donovan Hatem LLP law firm as a System Administrator, where he worked for five years. He administered a 160-user network, including servers, switches, firewalls, phone systems, all other hardware, software and peripherals, and user support. He also managed and completed system projects, including adding new ISP and BGP, VMware and EqualLogic SAN implementation, phone system upgrade, and online backup solution implementation. Additionally, Scott planned and executed a remote office in NYC and assisted with planning and executing the Boston office expansion to an additional floor.
Education
Scott attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he received his B.S. in Sport Management in 1998. In 2001, he decided to study computer science at Clark University, where he mastered networking platforms, achieving both A+ and Network + certifications
Love of the Outdoors, Traveling
Scott Robinson, Andover, loves the outdoors and partakes in everything from fishing to hiking, crabbing, scuba diving, skydiving, bungy jumping, snow skiing, water skiing, boating, and rollerblading. As a youngster, he spent a lot of time in Cape Cod, where his outdoor passions were fostered and nurtured. Growing up, he also played hockey and lacrosse. Scott ran the Boston Marathon twice, training for the event for 16 to 20 weeks each time.
He also enjoys going to concerts and sporting events, and he loves to travel with his wife, Belinda, and the adventures and once-in-a-lifetime experiences that come with it.
Scott has driven cross-country and backpacked through Japan, Thailand, and Europe, including England, Ireland, France, and the Netherlands, immersing himself in each environment.
He lived in Seattle briefly and spent a summer interning in New York City.
